As a trio Nil excels on guitars easily making up for the lack of additional instrumentation on his albums. My only complaint was that the guitar was turned up so loud it was hard to make out his vocals. Unfortunately one of the people i was with had tinnitus and we had to leave before the second set. We came down from RI specifically to see Nil. I hope he considers heading up this way sometime. It would be wonderful to have a live album.
